California Academy of Mathematics and Science

Many of you heard that the reason behind the “no free periods” policy was to prevent CAMS students from causing trouble.  However, it is a matter of minutes in the school day.  Apparently, the school may lose money from not having students in class for proper amount of minutes.  This means that if you are taking a 9th or 10th period class, or even a zero period, you will be able to have a free period next year. Hopefully this helped all of the tension and confusion!
